San Diego for Democracy Presents

A Very Special House Concert

San Diego for Democracy is very pleased to announce a special house concert on Saturday, May 19th, featuring San Diego’s own multi-award winning singer/songwriting duo Berkley Hart. Known for their quick wit, tight harmonies and catchy, thought-provoking songs, they brought the crowd to it’s feet at SDSU’s Open Air Amphitheater at DemocracyFest, and now’s your chance to see the full show in an intimate setting. They'll be playing songs from their 4 albums, including a rare performance of their unreleased voter's remorse song written specially for DemocracyFest, "Why, Oh Why Did I Let You Drive?"

This special performance will be held outdoors, poolside, at Martha Sullivan’s beautiful home in Poway, as a fitting farewell to the place prior to its sale.

Doors will open at 7:00 p.m. for a pre-show pot-luck dinner, and people are encouraged to bring a dish to share and enjoy talking to friends, meeting new people and having a bite to eat in a tranquil tropical setting. Berkley Hart will take the stage at 8:00 p.m.

Tickets: $15 with a reservation, or $20 for those who show up without one. With or without a reservation, tickets may only be purchased with cash, at the door, unless you specifically make other arrangements with the event organizers prior to the event.

For more detailed information and reservations, go to the Berkley Hart page and follow the instructions.
